Boeing’s Starliner mission set for third crewed flight test #

Boeing’s Starliner mission is poised to attempt its third crewed flight test, marking a significant milestone in its decade-long journey. The maiden voyage of the new spacecraft, with astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams on board, is scheduled to lift off in Florida. The main objective of the mission, named Crew Flight Test, is to rival SpaceX’s Crew Dragon capsule and expand the options for ferrying astronauts to the International Space Station under NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. If successful, it would mark the sixth inaugural journey of a crewed spacecraft in US history and make Williams the first woman on such a mission.
