U.S. Treasury Yields Await Federal Reserve Meeting Conclusion #

U.S. Treasury yields remained stable as investors anticipated the conclusion of the Federal Reserve’s latest meeting. The market hoped for insights and clues about the outlook for interest rates. The 10-year Treasury yield was little changed at 4.1316%, while the 2-year Treasury yield stood at 4.3584%. The Fed’s monetary policy announcement and post-meeting press conference, led by Fed Chair Jerome Powell, were eagerly awaited for guidance on interest rates in the coming months. Traders have priced in a September rate cut and seek hints from the Fed regarding its likelihood and the total number of rate cuts expected this year. Several economic indicators, including job openings and labor turnover, private payrolls, employment costs, and pending home sales figures, are expected to be released on Wednesday.
