Perdue Foods is recalling over 167,000 pounds of frozen chicken nuggets and tenders due to potential metal contamination. The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced the recall of items manufactured on March 23 and distributed nationwide. The products have a best-by date of March 23, 2025. Perdue identified the presence of thin metal wire accidentally introduced during production.
